This year, three UNH GSSP alumni received valuable “real world” experience in pitching a new business idea by competing in the
2019 Paul J. Holloway Prize Innovation to Market Competition. The annual competition encourages students to develop a product or service and present their plan to bring the project to market.
Students Win Phyu Phyu Aung (Myanmar), Chau Nguyen (Vietnam) and Zhenhui Jiang (China) drew on their own experiences as international students for the competition. Their proposed online platform, Ease, is designed to assist international students in finding rental housing.
After competing in the Bud Albin Challenge Round in April, Team Ease was among the six teams selected to complete in the championship round in May. Team Ease placed runner up!
Congratulations to Team Ease! You can learn more about Team Ease and the additional competitors here. If you’re ready to follow in these students’ footsteps, visit our University of New Hampshire page today!
