Optional Practical Training
The U.S. government’s Optional Practical Training (OPT) program offers international graduates with a degree in a STEM discipline (science, technology, engineering or math) the opportunity to stay and work in the U.S. for up to three years. Participating in the OPT program gives graduates a significant advantage when searching for permanent employment in the U.S. and abroad.
